VisiSonics is proud to announce that Mathias Zwicker, a chaired professor at UMD computer science will work with us!
“Collaborating with VisiSonics and Ramani Duraiswami will be interesting as sound and visual elements are important for complete immersion in a VR environment,” Zwicker said. “The work is an interesting extension of what I’m doing.”
“…Zwicker will work at least one day each week in support of entrepreneurial activities at VisiSonics, a UMD startup founded by Ramani Duraiswami, a professor in the UMD Department of Computer Science and UMIACS. VisiSonics technology, originally developed at the University of Maryland, allows the company to be a leader in interactive 3D sound capture and reproduction for applications in virtual and augmented reality.”
